Balancing a robot is really a challenging task. Accelerometer has been used for this purpose, it changes its value according to gravity. PIC micro-controller has been used as a brain for this. WORKING: There are three main parts of this project,
The main task is performed by accelerometer. When robot tilts towards any direction accelerometer sends signals to micro-controller, controller processes its data and according to the data sends signals to motor driving circuitry to move the robot in forward and backward direction. |
